Michael Anthony Brown is a distinguished film and television editor with five Emmy Awards to his name. His portfolio includes notable projects such as Netflix's Losers; Amazon Prime's Eat. Race. Win., Coach Prime and This Giant Beast That Is The Global Economy; Showtime's All Access; and most recently Netflix’s Mr. McMahon.

Michael played a pivotal role in earning FX’s Welcome to Wrexham two Emmy wins for Outstanding Picture Editing for Unscripted Reality for seasons One and Two.

 

In December 2024, work on Welcome to Wrexham season three was recognized by American Cinema Editors with a nomination for the 75th ACE Eddie Awards for Best Edited Non-Fiction Series. And this January, British Film Editors also recognized this season with its own nomination for Best Edited Series Documentary/Non-Fiction Programme for the 2025 Cut Above Awards.

 

With over 20 years of experience in documentary filmmaking; Michael’s career reflects his enduring passion for storytelling through experimentation, and curiosity.
